Walt: locate and summarise important information from a range of related texts.
Create task 1..
We are choosing a olympian and I have chose 'Sarah Walker'.
I have added why I have chose her, and some fun facts about her, (like: she is a BMX rider, she is the first BMX olympian medalist in New Zealand, EXT)
Create task 2...
for our second create task we have to chose a country and for that country i have chose China. I was meant to do 20 facts but i only had time for 8 facts..
Thanks for reading my blog! enjoy your Weekend..
WALT: explore pattern in sequences of multiples.
Over the past two week's we have learnt about Number patterns.
We have been using a number to help us with our Number Patterns.
"why do you think using a number pad to find a pattern is helpful when trying to solve Math problems?"
it makes times-table/ skip-counting a lot easier.
WALT: Compare sequences and look for patterns.
I have made two different Sequences, My first sequence goes '4, 8, 12_16 _,_ 20_,24, 28, _32_, _36_, _40_, _44_' The rule is to add four.
The next one is '4, 16, 68, _272_, _1088_, _4352_, _17408_'
The rule is times four.
My olympian I have chosen is Valerie Adams.
I wrote about where she was born,
the medals she got,
her age,
and what she does.
I used a keypad to find multiples of __3__
I noticed that "The pattern kept going down then up"
Something I learnt was "that it always ended with "3,6,9,2,5,8,1,4,7,0" in the 3's timetable"
